Run with us to support those with disabilities!
Join the Sealine Church as we spend the morning of February 28 with fun activities and delicious food to help raise awareness of IDD (Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities).
This special "Miles to Remember" outing lets you enjoy the company of friendly people and take part in athletic events to show how fast you can run and how strong you are.
Miles to Remember is your chance to compete in several fun activities. If you can't run, walk with us! We make the activities suitable for all ages and abilities!
1 Mile Family Walk
Any two family members
A prize will be awarded to the family team who can collect the most signatures of new friends during the walk.
1 Mile Buddy Relay Running
Any four friends
Four persons per team. Each member of a team will run part of the race, handing off the baton to the next team member.
This is our most challenging activity, but you don't want to miss it. The Season Spring, our organization sponsor, will donate $100 to the church for each participant who accomplishes the run.
Miles to Remember is an opportunity for helping to raise awareness and interacting with people with special needs, but please keep in mind this competition is meant to be friendly.
We invite you to be a part of this event in which we celebrate their courage, challenges, and unbelievable joy!
We have the celebration after the athletic events, please stick around for that too— We have a picnic and photo opportunity, and vendors selling souvenirs.
If you want to be a vendor for this event, please contact mar.cae@org for further information.
